Southern Expressway
The most direct and convenient route from BIA to Galle is via the Southern Expressway (E01). You can readily hire an airport taxi or use ride-hailing apps like Uber or PickMe for a comfortable 2 to 2.5-hour drive.
Scenic Coastal Train
For a more adventurous journey, take a taxi from BIA to Colombo Fort Railway Station, and board the iconic coastal train down to Galle. Enjoy beautiful ocean views throughout the 2.5 hour train ride before a short tuk-tuk trip to the villa.
